• No device information: We do not collect device IDs, IP addresses, or hardware information.
• No usage analytics: We do not use third-party analytics services to track your behavior within the app.
• No advertising data: We do not serve targeted ads or collect data for advertising purposes.

Local Data Storage & Multiplayer

All your single-player game data stays entirely on your device — there is no backend server, no cloud sync, and no data transmission to the internet. Your game progress, settings, and achievements are stored locally on your device only and are never sent to our servers or any third party.

Local Multiplayer: When participating in local multiplayer games, your device connects directly to other players' devices over your local Wi-Fi network (peer-to-peer). We do not route multiplayer traffic through external servers, and we do not monitor, record, or store any of your multiplayer sessions.

Technically, Riddle Keep operates under an Isolated Client-Side Architecture: the application is designed without a server-side data component, ensuring that data sovereignty remains entirely under your physical control.

Local data includes:

• Game progress and saved game states
• Your game statistics and earned achievements
• Custom app settings and preferences

In-App Purchases

Our app offers in-app purchases to permanently unlock premium content. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The app may communicate directly with the App Store or Google Play Store to verify ownership of premium content and restore previous purchases.

• We do not have access to your payment information or credit card details.
• We do not store billing information.
• Apple and Google's respective privacy policies govern these payment transactions.

Children's Privacy

We believe that privacy is a fundamental right, especially for the next generation of learners. Riddle Keep is engineered with a "Safety-by-Design" philosophy—meaning we don't just "protect" data, we avoid creating it in the first place.

Riddle Keep includes a dedicated Training Grounds section designed specifically for children. We are deeply committed to their safety:

• Zero-Data Collection: We do not knowingly collect, store, or transmit any personal information from children.
• Account-Free Exploration: We do not require account registration, email addresses, or any identifying details to access any part of the app.
• Hardware Isolation: All gameplay within the Training Grounds is entirely offline and local to the device, ensuring no external data transmission occurs.
• Global Compliance: Riddle Keep is architected to exceed the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international privacy regulations.
• Guardian's Gate: The app includes a built-in parental control system that allows parents to require verification before accessing advanced games or changing app settings — keeping young apprentices safely within the Training Grounds.

Third-Party Services

Riddle Keep does not integrate with any third-party social media platforms, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The only external interaction is with the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for secure in-app purchases.

Data Security

Since we do not collect or transmit any user data, there is no risk of data breaches or unauthorized access to your information through our services. Your game data remains secure on your physical device.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new features. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Changelog / Recent Updates

• May 20, 2026: Added clarification regarding local peer-to-peer (P2P) networking for multiplayer features. Added notice regarding camera and microphone usage declarations requested by the WebRTC plugin framework.

Device Permissions & Hardware

Our local multiplayer feature utilizes the WebRTC framework for secure and fast peer-to-peer communication. Although the underlying WebRTC plugin requires us to list camera and microphone configurations in the application build manifest (e.g., Apple's Info.plist), Riddle Keep does not access, request, record, or use your camera or microphone under any circumstances.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect any personal information:

• There is no data for us to provide, modify, or delete upon request.
• You maintain complete control over your local game data.
• You can delete all app data at any time by simply uninstalling the app.
